Based on debug screenshots originally posted by BGR, ChronicWire believes the iPad HD being announced today will have 1GB of RAM total.
This belief is based on the following calculations based on the vm_page_bootstrap number, which yields a number close to 1GB of RAM:
244,276 (pages) x 4,096 bytes (size of a page) = 1,000,554,496 bytes = 1GB (rounded)
Everything suggests that the iPad 3 (or iPad HD) will be released tomorrow. Meanwhile the AYTM people brings a infographic that allows a better understanding on the current state of the American iPad Consumers.
AYTM conducted two surveys. One was of 2,000 Americans who don’t own an iPad, and the other questionnaire queried 500 iPad owners. Their findings provide some insight into who will buy an iPad 3 and why.

CNet reports that a developer who’s previously provided reliable information with respect to Apple tells the next iPad uses the HD moniker instead of going with “iPad 3.”
Some case-makers have already started referencing the new device as the iPad HD
The “HD” tag could be akin to Apple’s “S” naming convention it took with the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4S, which marked incremental updates to the smartphone that weren’t substantial enough to warrant a complete number change. For example, the iPhone 3G and iPhone 4 featured redesigned exteriors, while the respective follow-up “S” models merely boasted internal component upgrades.
The major points of this iPad HD would be the retina display screen and a resolution of 2048 × 1536 px, and would be compatible with all current applications for which would have a backup system compatibility.
In a YouTube video that recently hit the Web, M.I.C. Gadget shows-off what it claims to be an assembled iPad 3, and compares the yet-to-be-announced product with its predecessor, the iPad 2.
The video shows the iPad 3 exterior assembled, but no internal parts. They reiterate previous findings, such as a slightly thicker shell, larger camera lens, and slightly more tapered design. MIC Gadget, however, was also able to confirm that existing iPad 2 magnetic Smart Covers will work with the new design. Finally, they found that 3rd party iPad 3 cases which are already available to purchase do match up with the back shell.
Apple is expected to announce the iPad 3 at a media event that is taking place on Wednesday, March 7th.
As we await the arrival of March 7, already confirmed as the release date of the iPad 3, I leave this awesome video in which they present a concept of a futuristic tablet.
Beyond not having any kind of button, it attaches magnetically to another tablet only by approximation and stretches the full width of both.
Also uses the projection of keys on the desk to use the entire screen.
Following the same concept of an extended screen the designer Kim Hyung Geun presents a new concept of what could be the tablet of the future.
Here are some pictures:

Some high quality photos released by a Chinese publication clearly show that the rear-facing camera is larger than the iPad 2′s and is rumored that the iPad 3 will have 8-megapixel camera.
This would be a significant jump in resolution for the tablet, though a much-welcomed upgrade from the1MP camera found on the iPad 2.
Along with the change in lens size, the case of the alleged next generation iPad looks to be more beveled than its predecessor. This slight change in design is consistent with previously-published images of the back case, and is supposedly meant to afford more space for a larger battery.

Another photos focus on the back shell of the alledged new device. As you can easily deduce from the image, the iPad 3 could indeed be thicker than its predecessor, and it may have more of a tapered style.

The imminent release of the iPad 3, expected for next March 7, caused Apple’s stock be listed at a price above $ 500 in the US Stock Market and reached a peak record for a technology company .
Not only the rumors about the release of iPad 3 were the triggers for the increment in stock prices, but the balance sheet of the fourth quarter of 2011 which threw a 117% growth in earnings.
This added to the iPhone 5 in which they are working to get by the end of the year promises a great future for Apple and therefore its shares are traded so well on the stock, while unbalancing all kinds of analysis.
The release date of iPad 3 is coming closer, several rumors indicate that an event would be held in early March, more precisely on 7 of that month. The event could be held in San Francisco, presumably at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Apple’s preferred location for big announcements like these. Keep in mind that as we are accustomed to Apple, the iPad 3 would be available in the retailers a few weeks later, ie mid-March.
As part of preparations for the launch, Apple would be handpicking apps to showcase the tablet’s Capabilities during its introduction. Apple’s selection process, moving along at which is an “increased rate” placing special emphasis is on graphics-oriented apps to show off the new iPad 3′s rumored Retina display.
Everything seems to indicate that in a few weeks we will be able to have the long awaited iPad 3 in our hands.
The flurry of part leaks continues as we approach the release date of the iPad 3.
Repair Labs posted a photo of the interior the iPad 3 rear shell that is said to be similar to the previous model’s back (that’s the iPad 2 on the left, iPad 3 on the right), save for changes which will allow for a larger battery, slightly reconfigured logic board, new cameras, and a different screen.

Apple.pro posts an image of the back of the same shell, showing it to look quite simliar to the current iPad 2 backing, though the camera appears closer to the edge:

The site also claims to have a photo of the Smart Cover magnets, suggesting the iPad 3 will share the same Smart Cover as the iPad 2.

A repair firm iLab Factory shows a 9.7-inch LCD panel from Sharp that is said to be a 2048×1536 high-resolution display set for inclusion in the iPad 3. The panel shows three ribbon cables connecting the display to its circuit board. The iPad 2 panel only utilizes two ribbon cables, with the additional cable on the new panel thought to be required to support its higher resolution:
